Every summer, a young girl named Chloe visits her grandparents' big farm in the countryside. She loves waking up early because the farm animals are always active and loud. First, she runs to the barn to see the large black and white cows. They're chewing green grass and making a loud "moo" sound. Next, she visits the friendly pink pigs playing in the soft mud. Chloe's grandfather lets her feed the noisy chickens and ducks near the pond. She throws yellow corn on the ground, and they're quick to eat it all. Her favorite animal is a beautiful brown horse named Star. Chloe brushes Star's hair every afternoon to keep him clean. Taking care of farm animals isn't easy work, but it's very rewarding. She feels happy because these wonderful creatures teach her a lot about nature.
