Last afternoon, Liam and his sister Emma played in their grandmother's big garden. They wanted to search for different insects and bugs in the green grass. First, they saw two beautiful yellow butterflies flying near the colorful flowers. Next, they discovered a tiny red ladybug sitting quietly on a green leaf. Liam also pointed at a fast dragonfly with shiny blue wings near the water. However, the fun afternoon suddenly turned bad when Emma opened the old garden shed. A huge, brown cockroach crawled out quickly and ran right across her shoe. Emma screamed loudly because she hated disgusting cockroaches. She jumped back and accidentally dropped her magnifying glass into the bushes. Fortunately, Liam was not afraid and helped his sister immediately. He used a long stick to push the cockroach away into the tall grass. Then, he found the magnifying glass in the bushes and gave it back to her. Emma stopped crying and smiled at her brave brother.
