Occasionally, we write the date using all cardinal numbers, like 04/27/2023. However, when spoken or written in words, the day should be expressed as "the twenty-seventh."

While this is the most common method in the USA, other countries, such as the UK, often place the day before the month, like this: 27th April 2023.
