Marian is very excited because today is her first day at the new high school. She sits in the courtyard and checks her weekly schedule to see all her upcoming lessons. First, she sees that on Monday morning she has Maths, where she needs to solve difficult number problems and equations. Right after that, she has History to learn about famous kings, ancient wars, and old countries. On Tuesday, she visits the laboratory for Science because she wants to do interesting experiments with plants and water. Marian is happy because she also has English to practice reading long stories and learning new vocabulary words. On Thursday afternoon, she goes to a special studio for Art to paint beautiful landscapes with watercolors. Later, she attends Music class to learn how to play the acoustic guitar and read classic songs. Finally, on Friday, she changes into her sneakers for P.E. to run around the sports field and play basketball with her classmates.
