Miles is a famous musician and he’s on tour around the country. He sits and listens to the national weather report on TV as he wants to check the different temperatures for his clothes. First, the presenter says the northern cities are experiencing a heatwave, so the weather there is completely hot and sunny. In the desert region, the sun is shining extremely bright and the temperature feels absolutely boiling during the afternoon. Moving toward the central valleys, the climate changes and turns nicely warm, which is perfect for a light jacket. However, the southern lakes are receiving cold winds from the mountains, so the air there feels quite cool near the water. Finally, the presenter warns that the highest mountain peaks are experiencing a winter front, making the temperature completely freezing with dangerous ice on the roads. Mile’s going to need a bigger suitcase!
